Verginia Hansen

Verginia Hansen, 90, of Monett, passed away March 3, 2019. She was born April 23, 1928, to William H. and Nelli (Burns) Meriwether. She married Walker D. Hansen; he preceded her in death. Hansen was a retired teacher and a member of the New Site Baptist Church.
Surviving are the following: sister, Viola Boggs of Eagle Rock; brothers, Albert I. Meriwether of Georgetown, Texas and Delber W. Meriwether; Hansen was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Marshall, and brother, David Meriwether.
Services were held Feb. 8, 2019 at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City. Burial was at Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City. Arrangments were under direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
