Verlaine Thorne Ladd

Verlaine Thorne Ladd was born in Oakland, Calif. in 1948 to Burr and Verla Thorne. She lived her early life in Auburn, Calif., with her parents and sister, Lorraine.
While in Auburn she met her husband, Ron Ladd, and together they had two children. They moved to Pierce City, in the 80’s where she raised her family.
She is survived by: daughter, Mellissa (Sandy) Ayala; two grandchildren all of Maryland; sister, Lorraine (Dan); two nieces; and one nephew. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Burr and Verla; her husband, Ron Ladd; and son, Kevin Ladd.
No services are planned at this time. Her care was entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
