Vicki Kay Cornman, 74, of Jenkins, passed away March 19, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin.
She was born March 12, 1946 to Victor Kenneth and Eunice (Henderson) Jones. In 1964 in Joplin, she was married to Walter Leslie Cornman, who preceded her in death in 2018.
Cornman grew up and received her education in Baxter Springs, Kan., Joplin and Monett, graduating from Monett High School. Shortly after marriage she moved to Jenkins to make her home. For many years she was a nutritionist for University of Missouri Extension Service. One of her favorite pastimes was helping with the 4-H Club where she was a leader for her entire adult life. She was a member of Jenkins Fire Department Auxiliary and Cassville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are: sons, David Cornman of Jenkins and Brian (Tiffany) Cornman of Wheaton; daughters, Sheri Young of Nixa and Traci (Scott) Craig of Metamora, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers.
Services were held March 23, 2020 at Clio Community Church in Jenkins, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.
