Vickie Sue Hendrix

Vickie Sue Hendrix, 61, of Purdy, passed away Dec. 20, 2019 at her home. She was born June 3, 1958 in Cassville, to Jimmie and Rowena (Walden) Hendrix. In 1973, she married Hershel Lakey. She grew up and received her education in Washburn where she graduated from Southwest High School.
She is survived by: her father, of Purdy, Missouri; fiancé, Luther Patton of Shell Knob; son, Chris Lakey of Cassville; daughter, Debi Lakey of Purdy; brothers, Michael (Krystal) Hendrix of Monett and Russell (Nancy) Hendrix of Exeter; sisters, Janice Conley of Seligman and Lorie (Stan) Weaver of Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by: her mother; one uncle; one brother-in-law; and one great-niece.
Graveside services were held Dec. 24, 2019 at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
