Viola A. Braeking

Viola A. Braeking, 93, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Oct. 15,
2020. She was born Dec. 24, 1926 in Weesatche, Texas to Eugene and Gertrude Natho. After the family moved to the Mt. Vernon area, she owned and operated a beauty salon on the Mt. Vernon square. She married Richard Braeking in 1952, St. Susanne church in Mt. Vernon. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Henson of Mt. Vernon; sisters-in-laws, Carolyn Natho of Mt. Vernon and Helen Natho of Lee’s Summit; seven children; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and parents.
 Private family memorial will be held at a future date.
