Violet Elaine Matthews

Violet Elaine Matthews, 78, Miller passed away Sept. 27, 20021 at Lawrence county Manor. Matthews was married to Mack on Feb. 23, 1963 and to this union four children were born.
Matthews is survived by one daughter, Tammy Gammill,  Miller; a son, Charles Matthews, Springfield; a brother Rocky Bryant of Omaha, Neb.; a sister Judy Matthews, Springfield, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Matthews was preceded in death by her husband Mack Matthews, her parents Charles and Nellie (Walker) Bryant, a daughter Deborah, a son Mack Jr., and two brothers Charles Bryant and Raymond Bryant.
Graveside services were  2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at at Bellview Cemetery Springfield. Visitation was 7 – 8 p.m. Friday  at Birch Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
