Wade Short

Wade Short, 46, passed away in Verona,  on Feb. 18, 2022.
Short was born on Jan. 11, 1976, in Denison, Texas as the son of Phillip Roy Short and Linda J. Short.
Short was a prominent residential construction contractor. He graduated at Verona Public High School, 1994. 
He is survived by his father and mother Phillip Roy Short and Linda J. Short, of Verona, and his four sons Jacob W. Short, Michael A. Short, Austin L. Short and Andrew J. Short and his sister Shawndi R. (Fred) Prisk and stepdaughter Nichole L. Short as well as a host of extended friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Freedom Christian Center, Aurora, all are invited to attend. Memorial donations can be made to Short memorial fund in care of First State Bank of Purdy, Monett, 417-235-6100. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
