Warren Cooper

Warren Cooper, 80, of Ozark passed away Sept. 21 son of Frederick and Ruth (Calender) Cooper, was born on Oct. 18, 1939 in Newport, Ark.
Cooper had lived in the area for the past 50 years coming from Pryor, Okla. He served his county in the US Air Force and was a member of the Jamesville Church of Christ. Upon moving to the area, Cooper  worked as a meat cutter at the Crane IGA before owning and operating Cooper’s Market on the north side of the square in Galena. Later he worked at Republic Ford as a car salesman.
Survivors include: son, Tim (Angie) Cooper of Monett; daughters, Terri Pribek of Kimberling City and Denise (Donnie) Jones of Nixa; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Larry) Ann Ellis of Gassville, Ark. and a host of other relatives and friends. Cooper was preceded in death by: his wife, Shirley Cooper.
Funeral services were held Sept. 25 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane. Burial will be in Jamesville Cemetery, Jamesville under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane.
