William Stewart Adams

William Stewart Adams, 83, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the Carthage Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage. He was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Antigo, Wis., the son of Beverly and Edith (Powell) Adams.
He was an electrical engineer for the aerospace industry.
Adams is survived by his ex-wife Barbara (Kline) Adams; five children, Phil Adams of Las Vegas, Nev., Craig Adams of San Rafael, Calif., Mike Adams of Littleton, Colo., Elizabeth Klinger of Mt. Vernon, and Joel Adams of Adelaide, Australia; one sister, Yvonne Jensen of Washington, Pa., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Adams was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; two brothers, an infant son, and two grandsons.
No services are planned at this time. Burial will be held at a later date at the Alvin Lakeview Cemetery in Alvin, Wis. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
