Winter Tea

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Winter Tea by Sheila Phelan

1 gallon water
1 cup sugar
6 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp. cloves
4 family-size tea bags
3-1/2 cups pineapple juice
2-1/2 cups orange juice
1-1/2 cups apple juice

Boil the water, sugar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves for 10 minutes. Add the tea bags. Steep for 10 minutes. Add the juices and serve.

Any leftover tea may be stored in the refrigerator and heated one cup at a time.
