Robert “Bob” Forester

Robert “Bob” Forester, 78, of Aurora passed away Oct. 2 in his home.
He was born to Howard and Mildred Jamison Forester on May 11, 1942 in Tahlequah, Okla. He was a retired contractor, commander of Legion Post 149 in Freistatt and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include wife, Linda; sons, Sam (Tiffany) Forester of Blue Eye, Mike (Becky) Forester of Aurora and Richard Wilson of Miller; daughters, Brenda (Randy) Sanders of Monett and Carla (Brian) Athen of Rogersville; brothers, Tim Forester, Gilbert Forester and Fred Forester all of Marionville; sister, Sue Gripka of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Herb and Joe Forester.
Funeral services were held Oct. 6 in the Faith Full Gospel Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Marionville IOOF Cemetery with full military honors.
