Randy Alan Plunkett

Randy Alan Plunkett, 65, Springfield, formerly of Clever, passed away Oct. 15, 2020. He was born Oct. 15, 1955 in Newberry, Ind. to Lawrence and Lillian (Campbell) Plunkett. He was the sixth of seven children in the home. Plunkett graduated from Clever High School. He married Vicki Gilmore in 1979. This union was blessed with one son, Jesse. Plunkett worked as a meter reader for City Utilities for about 18 years before his retirement. Plunkett loved to clean and would be found on many weekends detailing his vehicles and listening to music. He also loved to garden, but above all he loved his family.He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ada Sgroi.Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 41 years, Vicki, son Jesse, sisters Martha Keller, Sandra House, Etta Deulinand Cheryl Plunkett, one brother, Alvin Plunkett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends.
