Reuben Weaver

Reuben Weaver, 71, of La Russell passed away Dec. 4, 2020, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1949, in McMinnville, Ore., the son of Sam and Clara (Gerber) Weaver.
He was a cattle farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church in Mt. Vernon.
On Jan. 28, 1971, he married Edna Byler, in Guthrie, Ky.
He is survived by his wife; children, Miriam Weaver of La Russell, Ben (Erma) Weaver of Cub Run Ky., Sara Weaver of La Russell, Manuel Weaver of Elkton, Ky., Ida (Michael) Yoder of Mt. Vernon, Daniel (Leanna) Weaver of Guthrie, Ky., Joas (Lisa) Weaver of Stotts City, Neal (Frieda) Weaver of Stotts City, Monroe (Mary Beth) Weaver of Cub Run, Ky., and Enoch Weaver of La Russell; 19 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; sister, Frieda (Willis) Stutzman of Peebles, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service was held Dec. 7, 2020, at 8896 Lawrence 2097, Mt. Vernon, burial followed at the Amish Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Visitation was held Dec. 6, 2020, at his home.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
