Lois Gardner

Lois Gardner, 89, of Aurora passed away April 8, 2021, at her home. She was born June 13, 1931, in Marionville the daughter of H.V. and Loretta Dell (Buchanan) Wells.
She was a 1949 graduate of Marionville High School and worked as a phlebotomist for 21 years for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.  She was a member of the Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
On Dec. 12, 1951, she married Joe A. Gardner, in Harrison, Ark.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years; daughter, Pamela (Curtis) Hanawalt and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty (Ralph) Etheridge and Doris Wells.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora was held April 10, 2021, at the Osa Cemetery, southeast of Aurora.
