Halla Belle Hilbert

Halla Belle Hilbert, 84, passed away Nov. 13, 2020 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
Hilbert was born on Sept. 3, 1936, the oldest daughter of Delbert and Bessie (Niskern) Richmond of Rocky Comfort where she graduated from Rocky Comfort High School.
On June 19, 1954 she was united in marriage to Allen Hilbert for over 60 years until his passing on May 23, 2015.  To this union two sons were born, David and Bill Hilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David and one grandson. Surviving are son, Bill and his wife Barbara of Pierce City; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Hilbert of Golden City; eight grandsons and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by brothers, Bud (Diana) Richmond and Jerry (Marla) Richmond both of Goodman; sisters, Dee Giles and Betty (Bill) Broadhurst of Independence, Maxine (Gary) Bates of Wheaton and Kay (Earl) McNeill of Rocky Comfort along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held June 19, 2021 at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
