Karen Jane Sanville

Karen Jane Sanville, 74, of Marionville passed away at her home on June 18, 2021. She was born on Nov. 6, 1946, to Roy and Ethel (Dardanis) Arnsmeyer in Denver, Colo. She was the oldest of two children in the home.
Sanville graduated from East High School in Denver and went on to receive her Associate’s in Liberal Arts degree and then her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree. She married John Sanville and this union was blessed with two sons, John and Aaron. When she lived in Colorado, she worked for the Federal Government with the Bureau of Land Management focusing her talents on map making. They decided to relocate to Marionville who along with her brother, Roy were able to maintain the family farm which had been in the family since 1904.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; sons, John (Kimi) Sanville and Aaron Sanville; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Roy Arnsmeyer as well as other extended family and friends.
A visitation was held June 25, 2021 at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic; funeral services followed. Burial will be in Brashears Cemetery.
