Zelma Springer

Zelma Springer, 82, of Carthage passed away June 13, 2021 at her home. She was born March 13, 1939 in Reeds. Springer was the daughter of James and Lucille (Dunkle) Beam.
Springer married William “Bill” Waters on Sept. 10, 1954. She was the proud mother of six children, Sue (Leroy), Linda (Virgel), Billy preceded her in death in 1962, Walter (Sandra), Lisa and Kavan.
William Waters preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2008. On Dec. 30, 1975 she married Dwight Springer, he had two children Jerry and Jean. Dwight preceded her in death Nov. 26, 2007. They also adopted Melissa and Julie Springer. Springer was a grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 38 great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held June 17, 2021 at Park Cemetery.
Visitation was held June 16, 2021 at the Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
