Jenny Lou Essenwanger

Jenny Lou Essenwanger, 63, of Marionville, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021. She was born Nov. 17, 1957, in Whittier, Calif., the daughter of the late Joseph Clyde and Dorothy Louise (Baxter) Hulsey. Essenwanger was a 1975 graduate of Bell High School, in Bell, Calif. and worked as a dental assistant. She spent many summers in Jay, Okla. with her grandparents, Clyde, and Maude Hulsey. One of her favorite pastimes was relaxing on her sailboat at Dana Point, Calif. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marionville. On May 4, 1991, she married Kenneth Alan Essenwanger in Upland, Calif. Essenwanger is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kenneth; one son, David Bright and his father, Tom Bright of Marionville; one grandson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville. A private family burial will be held at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City. Online condolences may be shared at this website.
