Carl T. McNeal

Carl T. McNeal, 98, of Denton, Texas, died Oct. 9, 2021. He was born May 5, 2021, near Everton to Will and Montie McNeal. He married Phyllis V. Nicholson of Halltown on Nov. 16, 1942. They were married for 66 years before her death on Dec. 9, 2008. He was in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He worked in marketing for Continental Oil for 33 years, before retiring from Houston, Texas.
He is survived by daughters, Carla Sue Wilson of Denton, Texas, Mary E. Nondorf, Houston, Texas; sons, Thomas A. McNeal Sherman, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A memorial graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Dunkle Cemetery, eight miles west of Halltown on Highway Z.
