Victoria Salas

Victoria Salas, 82, of Monett, passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.
Salas was born on Feb. 28, 1939 in Ojo de Agua, Zacatecas, Mexico, daughter of the late Jesus Salazar and Sara Rueda. Salas was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by two sons, Francisco Salas  (Ignacia), of Monett and Francisco Salas (Graciela), of Purdy; one daughter, Isabel Salas (Lazaro), of Mexico; one brother, Alvino Salazar (Edubijes), of Mexico; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Salas was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mauro Salas; two brothers, Donaciano Salazar and Braulio Salazar; and one sister, Concha Salazar.
Visitation was held from 5-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at Buchanan Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett with Father Rahab Isidor officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. Memorial donations have been suggested to St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
