Mildred Joyce Hilton

Mildred Joyce “Millie” Hilton, daughter of Thomas and Lucy Randolph Pendergraft, was born June 20, 1936, in Oakland and departed this life Nov. 22, 2021, at her home in Mt. Vernon, at the age of 85 years.
Hilton was united in marriage with her husband Joe Hilton on Oct. 7, 1961. They shared 60 years together. Hilton was a homemaker for many years. She was a Scout Leader for her boys. She was an excellent student in school.
Hilton is survived by her husband Joe, of the home; son Frank Dawson, (Valerie) of Columbia Falls, Mont.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.   
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Jackie Dean and Johnny Dale Dawson; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service for Hilton was held at 1 p.m Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, in Lebanon.
Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Oakland.
