Kodiak Smith Mitchell

Kodiak Smith Mitchell, 19, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 26, 2021. He is survived by his mother Misty Mitchell and his father Kurtis Mitchell, his sister Aspen Mitchell, his step-mother Melinda Mitchell, his step siblings Kelsey Cobb, Tyler Cobb, Eldon Derringer, and Canyon Derringer, his maternal grandparents Gail and Curtis Scott, his paternal grandparents Tony Mitchell and Juanita Mitchell.
Mitchell was born on Sept. 11, 2002 in Springfield and lived his life between Republic and Halltown/Bois D’Arc. He graduated from Miller High School and was very proud of being a part of JROTC.
 The family had visitation at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 and the memorial service followed at 2 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home Republic.
The family would like to request donations to Meadors Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
