Tony M. Gilmartin

Tony “Pops” M. Gilmartin, 58, of Greenup, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.
Gilmartin was born on June 14, 1963 in Westmoreland, Kan., son of the late Jack W. and Barbara A. (Bowman) Gilmartin.
Gilmartin was employed at Evapco in Greenup, Ill.
Gilmartin is survived by his children, Jacob Gilmartin (Casie) of Greenup, Ill.; one daughter, Jacqueline Henbest  (Shayne) of Aurora; his fiancée, Amy Woodward of Greenup, Ill. and her daughter, Dannielle Catt of Oblong, Ill.; two brothers, Jack Gilmartin (Linda) of Cape Coral, Fla. and Mackie Gilmartin (Valerie) of Monett; four sisters, Linda Shepherd (Mike) of Monett, JoNell Green of Verona, Judy Wheeler of Monett and Bobbi Narancich (Daniel) of Shell Knob; three grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Gilmartin was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Gilmartin; and two sisters, DeeAnn Walker and Patty Gilmartin.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Interment was in Spring River Cemetery, Verona. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Foundation.
