Glenda Ellen Freise

Glenda Ellen Freise, age 61, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 6:48 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri. She was born December 28,1960, in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Dale and Julia (Garner) Blades.
Glenda was a 1979 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and attended Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri. Glenda worked for the City of Springfield for over 30 years.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Hillary Tyner and her husband, Jesse, of Mt. Vernon; her mother and stepdad, Julia Cleveland and her husband, Carl, of Mt. Vernon; Hillary’s father, Blaine Hopkins of Miller, Missouri; Hillary’s stepfather, Don Freise of Mt. Vernon and three grandchildren, Grace, Mason and Chloe Tyner.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Dale Blades.
A visitation was held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with a memorial service that followed at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
