Joyce Ann Bright

Joyce Ann Bright, 85, of Marionville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Pomona, Calif. the daughter of Aline Marie Rollins and George Matthew Northrop.
Bright married Larry Duane Bright on June 30, 1956, in Pomona, Calif. They resided in Marionville.
She graduated high school from Bonita High, in La Verne, Calif. and attended Mt. San Antonio College where she studied home economics. She grew up and raised her children in San Dimas, Calif. She was an accomplished seamstress and won many awards for her hand-pieced quilts.
Bright leaves a daughter, Debra Snider (Jerry), of Murrieta, Calif.; son, Jerry Bright (Candis), of Monterey, Tenn.; a daughter, Melissa Toppenberg (Chris), of San Dimas, Calif.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Duane Bright in 2020.
A private burial will be held at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville.
