Elizabeth Bourey

Elizabeth Bourey, 104, of Neosho, formerly of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at Oak Pointe of Neosho. She was born Feb. 7, 1917, in St. Louis, the daughter of George Everett and Mary (Howard) Pendleton.
Bourey was a graduate of Marionville High School in Marionville and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora.
On April 10, 1940, she married Arthur Raymond Bourey, in Longmont, Colo. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Bunzel (Ronald), of Neosho; three sons, Andrew Bourey (Alison), of St. Louis, Stanley Bourey (Marie), of Elgin, Ill. and James Bourey (Linda), of Aurora; 10 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Bourey was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary; husband, Arthur; sister, Ethel Wood and three brothers, Leroy, Carl and Howard Pendleton.
A funeral mass, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Aurora. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Aurora. A rosary was from 6-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, with visitation that followed from 6:30-8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
