William C. Anderson

William C. Anderson, 79, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at his home. He was born July 25, 1942, in Denver, Colo., the son of William Chester and Winifred Helen (Sampson) Smith. He was adopted by Harry Kale Anderson at the age of five after the passing of his father, William.
Anderson was a 1960 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora, Colo. and attended the University of Colorado. He was an accountant for Thousand Hills Resort in Branson and was a member of the Canopy Lodge 284 and was a Honored 50 year member (32 degree Mason).
On Aug. 24, 1963, he married Joyce Marcine Nelson, in Denver, Colo.
Anderson is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; one son, Kale Anderson (Tanya), of Aurora; one daughter, Yvone Willbanks (James), of Marionville; one sister, Kandee Stephens, of Delta, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, William Smith and Winifred and Harry Anderson; one son, Sean Anderson and grandson, Jason Willbanks.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.
