Barbara Ann Withnell

Barbara Ann Withnell, 66, of Crane, passed away Monday Feb. 7, 2022 while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born in Joliet, Ill. on June 8, 1955; the daughter of the late Andrew “Jack” and Pauline (Smith) Gilbert. She was united in marriage in Reavisville, to Darrel Withnell.
She was a retired LPN from Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora and a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Aurora.
Withnell is survived by her husband Darrel of the home; two daughters: Jennifer Minnich (Sam) of West Plains and Carol Taylor (Travis); two brothers: Rodney and Marvin Gilbert; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Pauline and brother Edward.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022  at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Graveside services were on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
