Betty Jo Wrobleski

Betty Jo Wrobleski, 91, of Pierce City, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at Lacoba Homes Inc. in Monett.  She was born in Rocky Comfort, on Dec. 23, 1930; daughter of Arnold and Erma (Boles) Michael. She married Eugene Wrobleski on Saturday, March 3, 1951, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Wrobleski retired from the Missouri State Chest Hospital in Mt. Vernon, and worked for Wal-Mart in Monett.
Surviving are the following: son, Mark (Laura) Wrobleski of Pierce City; daughter, Kathy Shelton of Springfield; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Wrobleski was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Erma Michael; her husband, Eugene Wrobleski; a son, Scott Wrobleski; two brothers, Bob and Ted Michael; and five sisters, Vaudell Lawrence, Pauline Nodine, Dema Brizendine, Nadine Apple, and Audrey “Trink” Birkes.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022.
Funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022. Burial followed at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Pulaskifield. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
