Jerome "Jerry" Edward Gardner

Jerome “Jerry” Edward Gardner, 68, of Monett, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born in Pensacola, Fla. on May 5, 1953; son of Kenneth and Leona (Peterson) Gardner.  Gardner was in the Navy and later, became a truck driver.
Surviving are the following: daughter, Jaclyn Gardner of Aurora; his mother, Leona Gardner of Salt Lake City, Utah; and five siblings.  
Gardner was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Gardner, and two siblings.
Gardner was cremated at his request and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
