Wayne Lee Schnake,

Wayne Lee Schnake, 87, of Stotts City went to be with his Heavenly Father in his new home, Saturday July 2, 2022.
He was born in Lawrence County October 28, 1934, to Louis H. and Golden (Garner) Schnake.
He and Marceline Bowman were united in marriage on May 24, 1955. She preceded him in death November 12, 1999. He remarried in 2001.
He was a follower of Jesus Christ and a member of the First Baptist Church of Stotts City. He was a retired Plant Superintendent for Dairy Farmers of America, a farmer, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Wayne loved Southern Gospel and Bluegrass music. He had many friends, acquaintances, and loved ones in the music field.
Wayne is survived by three children, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one brother, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in-laws.
Survivors include children, Roger (Diane) Schnake, Anita (Pat) Wagner, Alisa (Curtis) Hayward. Grandchildren, Nathan (Carie) Schnake, Andrew (Ashley) Schnake, Brady Hayward, Jonathan (Jessica) Wagner, Matthew (Chelsea) Wagner, Bailee (Lucas) Reinhart, and Kendyl Hayward. Great-Grandchildren, Craig, Caleb, Clay, Raylee, Atticus, Louis, and Maggie. Brother, Robert (Debbie) Schanke.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
