Carolyn McCaffrey

Carolyn McCaffrey, 64, passed away July 11, 2022 at her home in Monett, surrounded by her family.
McCaffrey was born on Nov. 8, 1957, in Monett and was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joel McCaffrey; five step-children and spouses, Joe McCaffrey Joyce  (Chris) Hutchens, Julie  (Scott) Mai, Josh (Sierra) McCaffrey, Jacque (Caleb) Diefenbach; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Lisa McBride.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Doris Johnson Taylor and William Kennedy; brother, Bill Kennedy; a special aunt, Ernestine Kennedy.
A prayer service was at 6 p.m. on Friday evening, July 15, 2022 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with visitation that followed until 8 p.m. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Monett. Father Rahab Isidor officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Concluding the services, all were invited to a luncheon at the St. Lawrence Parish Hall. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic School in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
