Rocky Stehlik

 Rocky Stehlik, 68, of Walnut Grove passed away Aug. 18, 2022. He was born in Springfield on May 14, 1954, to Herbert E. and Bettie Lee (Stone) Stehlik. On May 5, 2000, Stehlik and Diana Winberry were united in marriage and shared over 22 years together.
He was a life long Walnut Grove resident. He was active in his community, serving on the school board, a member of First Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. During his time in the lodge, he had been the Worshipful Master and active in the organizing of Pickin’ in the Park. He also was a big part of the local food pantry, “Caring Place.”
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Shirley Conrad.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Stehlik; children, Rebecca Medlin (Ben), Sean Gatewood (Terica), Jessica Jarman (Thomas), Casey Garcia (Julian), Dustin Stehlik (Taylor); 11 grandchildren; sister, Sheila Ivanoff (C.J.); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and life long friends.
A public Masonic service was held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. There will be no formal visitation. Celebration of life services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at Walnut Grove First Baptist Church. Private burial will be held at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
Memorial donations can be made to Caring Place Food Pantry or American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.
