Harold Ephron Reynolds

Harold Ephron Reynolds, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 2, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon. He was born in Wentworth, on Monday, April 4, 1938; son of Cecil Earl and Katherine A. (German) Reynolds.

Reynolds married Lucille Hatfield on June 12, 1957. They were married 56 years. They had four children: Marilyn Myers, Gary (Cheryl) Reynolds, Linda Kingrey, and Kenneth (Beth) Reynolds. He had nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. 

He married Judy Sifferman on Dec. 12, 2014, and she survives. He had one stepson, Derick (Whitney) Sifferman and six step-grandchildren.   

Reynolds worked at Juvenile Shoe Factory in Sarcoxie, Wells Aluminum and Hydro in Monett and attended Northside Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Katherine Reynolds; his first wife, Lucille; two siblings, Everett and Cecilia; and a niece, Donna Stow.

He has been cremated at his request. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, with Pastor Wally Long officiating. 

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital in care of Lakin Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
