Rose Marie Hancock

Rose Marie Hancock, age 75, of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at her home. She was born May 21, 1951, in Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of Homer Clayton and Betty Lou (Henson) Jones.
Rose was a 1969 graduate of Aurora High School and worked as a Medical Technician for Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, Missouri. She attended Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri to be a floral designer and worked for Consumers Market in Aurora and Monett, Missouri and for Wickman Gardens, in Monett, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and her animals.
On August 2, 1975, she married Larry Carl Hancock, in Aurora, Missouri. Rose is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Larry; her mother, Betty Stubblefield of Aurora, Missouri; her brother, Mark Stubblefield, of Aurora, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Robyn Hancock of Monett, Missouri; two granddaughters, Sara Hancock of Monett, Missouri and Ashley Ebbs of Webb City, Missouri and two grandsons, Jacob Hancock of Monett, Missouri and Joshua Hancock of Springfield, Missouri.
Rose was preceded in death by her father, Homer Jones; two sons, Scott Hancock and his wife, Tracey, and Matthew Hancock; her sister, Nancy Kimberling and her in-laws, Carl Hancock and Patricia Mason.
No services are planned currently. Friends and family may stop by Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora to sign the guest book. Burial will be held later at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared
