Thelma Deloris Maples, age 84, of Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the Ash Grove Healthcare Facility surrounded by her immediate family. Deloris was born August 3, 1934, in rural North Platte, Nebraska to Chester and Nellie Griffiths.
Joyce Nell Jones, age 77, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 7:37 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. She was born July 25, 1941, in Miller, the daughter of the late Don and Beulah (Jones) Washam.

Ernest Ray Grissom, 93, of Marionville passed away Jan. 10, 2019. He was born to Martin and May Everette Grissom Aug. 17, 1925, in Joplin. He was a farmer and a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Aurora.
Teresa Nelson, 60, of Pierce City passed away Jan. 4, 2019, at Mercy Aurora Hospital in Aurora. Nelson was born in Beebe, Ark., Jan. 24, 1958 to Robert and Rosa (Bechtel) Powell. She was married to Clarence Nelson March 27, 1982, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Monett.
Harold Wallace Schultze, 93, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Joplin, passed away Dec. 29, 2018, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. He was born Sept. 21, 1925, in Monroe, La., to Robert and Genevieve (Scoby) Schultze.
Edward Daniel “Ed” Lyon, 90, of Billings, passed away Jan. 10, 2019, in Mercy Hospital Aurora. He was born April 25, 1928, in Monroe, N.Y., to the late Daniel Frances and Dorothy (Davis) Lyon.
