Glenn Michael Garoutte

Glenn Michael Garoutte, 74, of Springtown, TX, passed away on April 9th. He was born on July 7, 1947 to Glenn and Martha Garoutte on Rt2 in Verona, MO. After graduating from Verona High School with the class of 1965, he enlisted in the United States Navy to serve his beloved country. He was a veteran of Vietnam War and attained the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. Afterwards, he moved to St. Louis, MO and went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad. In 1976, he married Gloria Moore in Branson, MO and went on to have one daughter, Lisa.
He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed helping his brother, Charles, serve the homeless community of Ft. Worth, watching grandchildren’s sports games, piano recitals and theatrical events.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Glenn and Martha, his wife, Gloria, and his sisters, Connie and Lynda. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Squibbs, son-in-law, Brian Squibbs, grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Sean and Maria Squibbs of Keller, TX, brother, Charles of Azle, TX, brother, Gary of Mount Vernon, MO, and sister, Helen Burrell of Mount Vernon, MO, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass and entombment will be held after Easter at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX.
