Ford worked as an electrician in and around the Carthage area for most of his life. He attended Fairview Christian Church in Carthage.
Harry T. Kelley, Jr., of Battlefield, passed away March 11, 2021. He was born Feb. 7, 1949 in Brainerd, Minn. to Harry, Sr. and Audrey (Jones) Kelley. He was the oldest of three boys in the home.

Leonard Alford Wheeler, Jr., 79, of Mt. Vernon formerly of El Dorado Springs, passed away May 8, 2020, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. He was born July 28, 1940, in Thayer, Kan., to Leonard Alford and Flossie (Matlock) Wheeler, Sr.

David Edgar Ellis, 88, Jr., a resident of the Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, son of David Edgar and Lola Muriel Ellis, was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Crane and passed away Jan. 1, 2020. He lived most of his life in Crane and Aurora. He pastored churches in Mt. Carrol Ill., Crane, Ft.
