Donald Dene Aust, 56, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church.

Arlene Faye (Schmillen) Stevenson, 83, was born Sept. 20, 1938, at Marcus, Iowa. She was the daughter of Arley F. Schmillen and his wife Ethel A. Nee Peck.
Dale L. Ginger and Stevenson were united in marriage Nov. 12, 1958.
Cynthia Ann Oczkus, 53, of Aurora, passed away on Feb. 28, 2022. She was born to Cecelia Ortwien Oczkus and Josef Oczkus on Feb. 10, 1969, in San Diego, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cecelia, and her brother, Josef Oczkus, Jr.
Ronald Lee Landoll, 85, passed away March 9, 2022. He passed away at his home in Monett after a short illness. He was born Aug. 27, 1936, to Leo and Clara Mae (Kutz) Landoll, in Pierce City.
Karen Kay Gibson Whitmire, 82, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her home. She was born Oct. 27, 1939, in Aurora, the daughter of Orville (Buddy) and Vesta (Jaqua) Gibson.
Jerome “Jerry” Edward Gardner, 68, of Monett, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born in Pensacola, Fla. on May 5, 1953; son of Kenneth and Leona (Peterson) Gardner. Gardner was in the Navy and later, became a truck driver.
Ruby Marie Sharp, 86, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Ark. She was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Charles Overton and Beulah Myrtle (Barnes) Weathers.
Audrey Sue Dennis, 59, of Mt. Vernon passed away on March 13, 2022. She was born on June 16, 1962 in Lee’s Summit, to Geraldine and Dean Duett. On Feb. 14 of 1995 she married David Dennis and they spent 27 years together.
