Susanne Key, 76, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 24 at home with her daughters by her side. She was born Jan. 6, 1944, in Redondo Beach, Calif., the daughter of Evelyn Fern (Stevenson) Smith and Clyde Ross Smith. She was raised by Evelyn and Howard Davis.
Jeffery A Holden, 42, of Crane son of Kenneth and Kim (Johnson) Holden, was born Aug. 30, 1978 in Rockford, Ill. and passed away Sept. 20. Holden was a concrete laborer who was a lifelong resident of the area.
Donald Robert Alksne, 69, of Pierce City passed away Sept. 26 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Jan. 3, 1951; the son of the late Edwin and Jean (Church) Alksne. Alksne attended college at Texas A&M. He worked for the Denver Post newspaper as a mechanic for many years.
Dora Elizabeth Gaydou, of Carthage passed away Sept. 25 from injuries sustained in a fall Aug. 28. She was born in the Pierce City area on April 11, 1930 to Clayton and Inez Morris. She graduated from Pierce City High School in 1948 and then married Neal Gaydou July 4, 1948.
Donna Kay Frerichs, age 56, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 4:28 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020, at her home. She was born September 8, 1964, in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Aletha Fay (Kleiboeker) Saloga.
Donald Frank Corwin, age 77, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 5:46 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at the Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born October 10, 1942, in Miller, Missouri, the son of Carl and Mary (Jones) Corwin.
William Edward “Bill” Rainey, passed away in Springfield Aug. 25 from COVID-19. He was born in Houston, Ark., Aug. 24, 1936 to Elmer and Eunice Rainey. He was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, where he ran track and played football.
Barbara Sagehorn, 93, of Monett, passed away Sept. 13 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Monett on Aug. 14, 1927, to Armond and Sibyl (Browning) Carlin. Sagehorn graduated from Monett High School and worked as an accountant before retiring.
Danny White, 75, passed away Sept. 14 in Mt. Vernon. He was born in Rural Granby Township to Zatta and Oleith White.
White is survived by: his children, grandchildren, and close friends. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Roberta.
Nancy Faye Golubski, 78, of Pierce City passed away Sept. 19 at Oak Pointe of Monett. She was born in Wheaton on March 7, 1942. She was the daughter of Clifford and Bernice (Bergman) Wogoman. She married Robert Golubski in 1961 in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
