Calvin Leroy Logan, 84, of Elkland, passed away Aug. 15, 2020 in Springfield. Logan was born near Hurley July 31, 1936 to Evertte Leroy and Elva Faye Logan. He served his country in the National Guard during his youth.
William Gorman Jr., 76, of Monett, passed away Aug. 16, 2020 while staying at Bentonview Park Health and Rehab in Monett. He was born Oct. 8, 1943 in Kansas City, Kan. to the late William and Gladys (Lightner) Gorman Sr.
Charles Edward Tomlin, 58, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 12, 2020, at his home in Aurora. Tomlin was born in Lancaster, Calif. June 26, 1962, to the late Marion Charles and Terryl (Schwerin) Tomlin.
Tomlin has been cremated and burial will be at a later date in California.
Timothy Alan Jackson, 52, of Springfield, passed away Aug. 14, 2020 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Graveside services were held Aug. 18, 2020 in Maple Park Cemetery under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. A full obituary will follow.
Larry A. Garrett, 66, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 11, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born to Charles and Myrna Schell Garrett on Sept. 4, 1953 in Springfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Virgil “Wayne” Parris of Verona, formally of Broken Bow, Okla., passed away Aug. 8, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Ramona, Okla. on Sept. 3, 1944 to Vernon Parris and Lois (Hancock) Parris-Dawson. He was a 1963 graduate of Nowata High School.
George A. Blevins, age 92, of Miller Mo., passed away on August 5th, 2020.
He is survived by: one son, Dennis (Vicki) Blevins; and three daughters, Deb (Richard) Garrettson, Jill (John) Scott and Janelle Blevins; four grandchildren; and one great-grandaughter.
James R. Wilson, 86, of Aurora passed away Aug. 9, 2020 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
He was born to Alonzo and Grace Welty Wilson May 30, 1934 in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. He was retired from the National Guard.
